Science and pseudo-science in modern culture

The purpose of the article is to analyze the place of pseudoscience in the culture of modern society. In the course of the study, general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction) methods of cognition, as well as generalization and description methods were used. The results of the study show that science acts as the basis of modern technogenic civilization, but besides scientific, pseudoscientific knowledge also actively manifests itself. Pseudoscience is more wider and more included in the life of a modern person. In the spiritual culture of modern society, various pseudoscientific concepts bloom, which is determined by many heterogeneous causes.
