Guidance of a controlled aircraft using the three-point method

This article discusses code written to calculate navigation using the three-point method. The method involves determining three points - a control point, an aircraft (hereinafter referred to as the aircraft), a target, as well as constructing a coordinate system to track the position of the aircraft. The advantages of the method are its versatility and the ability to be used for guidance of different types of aircraft. Limitations are related to the accuracy of determining coordinates and the influence of external factors. In the process of work, the available theoretical data regarding the method were processed, and using the MatLab program, code was written to implement the method in practice. Finally, the optimization of this method and its application areas are discussed.
