Nutrition, food names in work Diwan Lughat at-Turk by M. Kashgari and their use in the modern Kyrgyz language

Research relevance. This article is relevant in the definition that the modern Kyrgyz language is one of the ancient Turkic languages and that most of the words in the dictionary are used in the modern Kyrgyz language. Research purpose: to determine the level of use of words, denoting the names of food products, in the modern Kyrgyz language in the dictionary Diwan Lughat at-Turk by M. Kashgari, linguistic phenomena in the phonetic form. Research materials and methods: research basis was a historical-comparative method. Research objects are Kyrgyz (sometimes Uzbek) translation of the dictionary. Research results: most of words related to the names of food in the dictionary do not change in the lexicon of modern Kyrgyz language porridge), honey - honey, bread - bread, bread - bread, flour (juice) - flour, meat - meat, salt - salt, flour - flour, etc.) juurat, komach - komuch, jypka - zhupka, tarig - taruu, bulgama - bulamyk, ağuź - uuz, ashlyk - ashtyk, katma yuga - kattama, etc.). Most of the words related to food with nutrition names in the dictionary do not change in the Kyrgyz language modern lexicon (food - food, milk - milk, noodles - noodles, kurut - kurut, talkaan, talka - honey, talc - honey) - honey, bread - bread, bread - bread, flour (juice) - flour, meat - meat, salt - salt, flour - flour, etc.) uuz, grain - grain, layer yuga - layer, etc.). It is also known that some words are derived from the use of modern Kyrgyz vocabulary and are used in other terms (pain, pain, pain - bone marrow, churok - kulcho, bread, suktuu - byzhy, tar - oil and so on. Findings: research results can be used as a material for study of history and lexical composition of the Turkic languages, including modern Kyrgyz language.
