Недержание мочи после радикальной простатэктомии является частой причиной снижения качества жизни пациентов. Несмотря на активное изучение, все анатомические и клинические особенности возникновения и течения недержания мочи после радикальной простатэктомии окончательно не выявлены. Для анализа причин и механизмов развития данного заболевания необходимо продолжение и развитие подобных исследований, результаты которых могут стать основой патогенетически обоснованных подходов к выполнению радикальной простатэктомии. Это должно привести к профилактике или минимизации частоты недержания мочи после данного оперативного вмешательства.

Urinary incontinence after radical retropubic prostatectomy

Urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy is a common cause of reduced quality of life of patients. So far anatomical and clinical grounds for that complication are not completely known. Therefore, continuation of research on that problem is necessary to develop improved approaches for radical prostatectomy. That should lead to the prevention or minimization of urinary incontinence after surgery.
