Non-governmental drug treatment rehabilitation centres: organisational and legal problems of activity

The authors analyze aspects of activity of domestic non-governmental centers that carry out rehabilitation measures for drug addicts. The negative aspects of the functioning of private rehabilitation centers are investigated (absence of constitutive documents, systematic violation of patients' rights, absence of scientific and methodological rehabilitation programs, conducting financial and economic activities through violations of the Russian legislation, etc.); measures to increase the effectiveness of the State activity in the field of creation and functioning of drug rehabilitation centers are proposed.
