Neuropsychological disorders with Rett syndrome

The article describes the specificity of neuropsychological disorders in the Rett syndrome, which relates to autism spectrum disorders, and has a separate code in the ICD 10 - F84.2. Rett syndrome is a monogenic disease caused by a mutation of the MeCP2 gene in the X chromosome. Its main clinical signs are dementia with autistic traits, apraxia with specific stereotypes of washing and rubbing nature and epileptic seizures. The literature data and the results of our own observations are presented.
