Vocational education is designed to help a person master the necessary competencies that characterize his readiness for work, which in the future will form the basis of his work activity. Numerous studies of the theory of readiness present various models of this state, sets of personal psychological qualities and characteristics necessary for readiness for activity and solving assigned tasks. In this article, we will consider the general readiness for activity, which determines how effective the models of work activity mastered in vocational education, personal skills, and qualities will be in the changing conditions of a mixed subject-digital environment. An analysis of the influence of background neural activity of internal speech on readiness for activity (labor, professional) is presented. Inner speech is one of the important mechanisms for the development of human speech and mental activity. At the same time, in the digital era, inner speech performs a number of qualitatively new functions in the conscious and unconscious processing of digital information. Background manifestations of neural activity of internal speech in the modern world are called “internal dialogue”. This is background speech noise made up of fragments of underprocessed and unconscious information. Internal dialogue is the result of the participation of inner speech as an automated cognitive stereotype. To study the influence of background residual neural activity on readiness for work, from 2014 to the present, within the framework of the neuropiloting laboratory of the Ural State Forestry Engineering University and subsequently at the neurocenter for the development of professional reliability “Resource”, 118 people of various ages were examined using the method of electroencephalographic studies in the process of preparation and training labor activity. Mixed object-digital reality largely blurs these states in real conditions. Working with practical neurotechnologies is a new phenomenon that is under research. At the same time, the reality of the digital era dictates the need to study and apply them today.
