Some aspects of treating the neuropathic form of diabetic foot syndrome

Introduction. The neuropathic form of diabetic foot syndrome remains one of the most complex and prognostically unfavorable complications of diabetes mellitus. Chronic tissue hypoxia and bacterial contamination of the wound are key pathogenetic factors that lead to impaired reparative processes, infectious complications, and amputations. The purpose of the study. Analysis of the available literature on the use of certain methods of local wound treatment in the neuropathic form of diabetic foot syndrome. Materials and methods. Available foreign and domestic literature, scientific databases PubMed, e-library, Google Scholar. Results. A literature review on the use of certain methods of local wound treatment in the neuropathic form of diabetic foot syndrome has been performed. Conclusion. There are no studies on the combined use of local wound treatment methods, taking into account the phase of the wound process in the neuropathic form of diabetic foot syndrome.
