This article provides an in-depth analysis of the conditions under which methodological support for the process of teaching printmaking occurs in universities in Russia and China, with special emphasis on issues related to the necessity of updating methodological resources and technical infrastructure, which is particularly relevant for Russian universities. In the context of China, the discussion addresses the dilemma between adherence to traditional practices and the adaptation of teaching methods to new technological trends. The comparative analysis reveals the convergence and divergence in the educational and value systems of both countries, examining the impact of these factors on the educational process. The article concludes by asserting the necessity of synthesizing best practices and accelerating the reform of educational content, which will serve as a key to enhancing the quality of teaching and strengthening cultural ties between Russia and China in the field of art.
