The study discusses several aspects of atypical employment: the economic sector full of atypical elements, the conformity of education to real labor activity, the level of satisfaction with job and working conditions. The author examines three major groups of atypical employed people: official employees involved in day-to-day job, unofficial employed and self-employed people. Job satisfaction, the content of job, duties and their compliance with the desired level are necessary to do the social portrait of each employed group. The study reveals the most common working conditions for atypical employed people. These conditions are ranked on a scale from the most important to the least important ones; the main motivating factors are presented as well. The author concludes that there is a tendency among employees to formal employment that provides guarantees and responsibilities of employers and customers. Despite the human needs for free time, creativity, and a comfortable psychological environment, most people strive for material well-being followed by a sense of stability and security.
