Some aspects of translation of dental literature

The article analyzes the specifics of the translation of dental literature and classifies typical errors of this issue (ignorance of terminology, misunderstanding of the translated material, dental misinformation), gives systematization of modern Anglo-American dental terms (borrowings, internationalisms, abbreviations) recorded in English and Russian-language medical periodicals, Internet resources, dictionaries. The material of the article will be useful both for professional translators of dental literature and medical professionals in the field of international communication, and also for specialists interested in the professional medical communication.
