Some aspects of improving scientific level of educational process

At present the significance of Science education is underestimated in our country. It has led to the reduction of academic hours designated for Science disciplines at schools and higher educational institutions as well as to the decrease of the number of specialists trained for scientific, technical, and pedagogical work. In conditions of learning time deficiency, effective means of increasing the level of Science education involve mobilization of internal resources of an educational institution, development of innovative processes, creation, and introduction of new teaching techniques and technologies. Modern digital information technologies provide a varied set of means for developing new pedagogical methods and techniques, for arranging and presenting educational information in a structured way, stimulating and supporting independent activities of the learner as well as enhancing the place and role of the teacher in educational process. For this reason, in teaching practice we give maximum attention to the following directions: application of modern multimedia technologies to present educational information (computer animation, digital video and sound recording, computer modelling, training dialogue with a computer, business games, etc.); teacher innovative activities connected with the use of computer technologies and communications with the aim of creating conditions for student involvement in active, voluntary, creative process of the formation of both knowledge and generalized methods of work. The study demonstrated that innovative resources, when incorporated into learner educational environment, contribute to the improvement of the efficiency and scientific character of an educational process, ensure learner’s intense brainwork, and increase the level of the natural science-based perception of the issues to be studied.
