Some issues of the translation of phraseological units (based on the comparative study of texts by Jerome K. Jerome)

The article discusses the issues of the translation of associative lacunae, in particular phraseological units, on the basis of a comparative analysis of translations of Jerome K. Jerome books. The relevance of this work is determined by the importance of cross-language and cross-cultural research to identify similarities and differences.
