Detection of systemic amyloidosis and histological autopsy observation in patients with rheumatoid arthritis is a valuable examination describing the signs of the disease and its correlation with other pathologies. Using hematoxylin-eosin and amyloid staining of tissues, we have revealed amyloid deposits in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. Amyloidoses are a group of rare diseases characterized by protein metabolism disorders and amyloid deposition in various organs and tissues of the body. In the case of rheumatoid arthritis, a patient may have systemic amyloidosis as a concomitant disease, which aggravates the clinical course of the underlying disease. The results of the histological examination indicate the presence of an amyloid process in this patient. Our observations allow understanding better the pathogenesis of systemic amyloidosis in rheumatoid arthritis and developing effective approaches to its diagnosis and treatment.
