Some precedent toponyms in the language cognition of Krasnoyarsk citizens

The article presents the results of the associative experiment where such toponyms as Moscow, Russia, Siberia were used among words-stimuli. As it is generally known, precedent toponyms contain very substantial sociocultural information. The analysis of the respondents’ responses demonstrates a constant actuality of these stimuli for the language cognition of Krasnoyarsk citizens and a rather wide variation of estimates.
