Some problems of fire training in Russian Interior Ministry universities

This article analyzes the existing problems of training Russian Interior Ministry officers to work with firearms. It is noted that the current program is limited to studying theory and shooting at a shooting range, while a real operational environment requires broader skills. Special attention is paid to the need for psychological training and the simulation of real-life situations involving firearms. The authors propose the use of training with mannequins, interactive complexes, and the adaptation of the training process to the individual psychological characteristics of cadets.
