Some trends in the development of domestic enterprises: digitalization and the ESG concept

The article provides an overview of the corporate sector's development trends, drawing on international experience and analysis from various sources. It highlights that digitization has not only become a sustainable trend but also an established environmental factor for economic agents, as noted by G.B. Kleiner. Regulators in Russia and globally encourage modern industrial enterprises to adopt the ESG principles, which adds a technological dimension to their business processes and promotes vertical diversification. Consequently, the authors believe that implementing the ESG principles is an independent driver of economic agent development, creating further prerequisites for medium-term growth.
