Some issues of practical and legal regulation of public administration in the sphere of land relations: delimitation of powers

This research paper is devoted to the analysis of the practical and legal aspects of the delimitation of powers of public authorities in the field of land relations management. The authors analyze statistical data in the field of land relations, revealing a significant number of violations of land legislation. The paper examines the key problems of modern legal regulation: the duplication of powers at various levels of government, the uncertainty of the status of undivided lands, the blurring of competencies in the field of land control, the lack of effective mechanisms for resolving disputes about powers, the inconsistency of land and urban planning legislation. A set of legislative adjustments is proposed aimed at improving the system of state management of land resources and optimizing the distribution of competencies between federal, regional and municipal authorities.
