Non-material methods of stimulating the teaching staff in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation

In this article, the role of the motivation system of the teaching staff in the staffing of the higher education system of the Russian Federation is investigated, various theories of employee motivation are considered. The authors also analyzed the numerical composition of the teaching staff (teaching staff) in higher educational institutions of Russia. In this connection, it was concluded that increasing the prestige of the profession, as well as improving both the material and non-material motivation system for teaching staff is a priority for most higher educational institutions in Russia. In addition, it was noted in the article that material methods of stimulating activities cannot be unlimited, the issue of creating an effective system of non-material stimulation of the work of the teaching staff is becoming increasingly relevant to the management of universities. As the main non-material methods of labor stimulation, the authors suggest using: socio-psychological methods of encouragement, creative encouragement, grace period, administrative methods.
