The need for migration: prospects, risks, possible consequences

The article considers migration processes as a social phenomenon that determines the current state of many states, including Russia. Today, migration is one of the most pressing problems that affects all spheres - social, economic and political. In connection with globalization, migration processes play the role of a means of adaptation of people to the changes taking place in the world (the problem of adaptation of migrants in the host country has become one of the acute social problems). The connection of demographic processes taking place in our country with immigration processes is revealed. In order to manage migration and understand migration flows, it is necessary to analyze migration legislation and statistical data on migration processes. The article analyzes the main provisions of the Concept of state migration policy and proposes a solution to migration problems, including for the economic security of the country.
