The topic of this study is the need to develop social management in Russian organizations. This issue is extremely relevant against the backdrop of a changed external environment, sanctions pressure, the need for dynamic development, growth of domestic production, as well as increasing the competitiveness of domestic products. The aim of the study is to find opportunities and ways to develop social management in Russian organizations in changed external conditions. The paper reveals the relationship between the effectiveness of an organization and the level of social management and discusses the practical significance of the measures for improving the quality of social management, as well as the need to create a social development plan on management in organizations.
