Mmediate and long -term results septal pacing

Study investigates the effectiveness of pacing the interventricular septum. Study group included 87 patients who ventricular electrode was implanted in the middle third interventricular septum. Implantation of electrodes in the interventricular septum was performed using a large radius curved stylet with a distal posterior curvature. The results showed that the implantation of a ventricular electrode in middle part of interventricular septum in complexity and security comparable to the electrode placement technique in the top of the right ventricle. The reproducibility of this method is more than 97%, and requires no special tools. Implantation of electrodes in the interventricular septum in the long-term results in improved clinical performance compared with implantation of a housing choice vouchers, which is particularly reflected in the reduction of the functional class of heart failure, and increased exercise tolerance.
