Objective: to describe a case of endoscopic diagnosis of central lung cancer that does not have a characteristic X-ray picture according to computed tomography.Key points. Central lung cancer is a common clinical pathology with a characteristic clinical and radiological picture. Radiological signs of bronchial stenosis are leading in the diagnosis of tumorsof central localization. The article describes a case of endoscopic diagnosis of central lung cancer with total bronchial obstruction, combined with normal attenuation pattern.Conclusion. Widely used diagnostic methods such as X-ray and CT in some cases are not informative enough and may be mistakenly interpreted in case of lung tumor diseases of central localization. In order to establish and confirm the diagnosis, white light bronchoscopy (WLB) should be used for central lung cancer diagnosis.
