Independent assessment of the quality of social services as a performance index of social service organizations

The article dwells upon the possibilities of independent assessment of the quality of social safety net mechanisms in the municipality. The theoretical and legal basis for the provision of these services is considered, the categories of recipients and key types of social support are analyzed. The target of research is social safety net mechanisms, and the subject is quality evaluation methods of their provision in the municipality. Based on statistical data, an analysis of the social safety net measures in the municipality is presented (on the example of the State Committee of the Bryansk Region of Zhukovsky District), and recommendations are given to improve the quality of these measures, formulated on the basis of the results of independent assessment of the quality activities of social service organizations in the municipality, in particular the creation of databases, comprehensive informing of the population, etc.
