Work quota setting of academic load: practical review

The main topic of the presented paper is the issues connected with the effectiveness and efficiency of the process of planning, work quota setting and formation of all kinds of workload for modern university lecturer. Based on data analysis about work quota setting for Russian universities' lecturers the judgement about low level of this process in work practice of Russian universities was made. Such situation is caused by inadequate legislative basis and the use of contradicting methods of academic workload definition. This article shows the possibilities of creating simple and effective system of work quota setting of academic workload and is addressed to university stuff who implements such an important work.
