A new procedure for monitoring public opinion of policing: a critical view

The article is devoted to the analysis of the procedure of population surveys on the quality of law enforcement officers' work. The shortcomings of the legislative regulation of this activity and the possibility of their leveling are stated in the article. The author's principal position, namely the need to involve independent experts in the field of sociological surveys in monitoring is substantiated. In author's opinion it will ensure high quality work and impartiality to the results of the survey.
