"New visuality" in light of the theory of art crisis

This article gives a detailed analysis of 'new visuality' phenomenon as a consequence of art crisis. Transformation of artistic imagery and formation of a new model of perception in the early twentieth century are characterized by the emergency of such processes as dematerialization, disembodiment, dehumanization, which is noted by researchers regardless of their position in the assessment of current state of art.
