New in the preparation of athletes in sailing and rowing sports (based on materials from the foreign press)
Modern training system of qualified athletes includes scientific and methodological support as an essential component, involving obtaining information about current cumulative changes in athletes' bodies, indicators dynamics of all sides of their preparedness, non-training and noncompetitive factors. This information is often confidential, but in some cases its individual fragments are published in the press, that allows us to get a general idea about the state of the issue in foreign sports. The article analyzes 51 sources of foreign periodicals. Priority areas of current research, reflecting the various aspects of technical training, training features of organization and construction process, as well as other important aspects of high-class athletes' training in rowing, sailing and canoeing are revealed. Studied data has multi sectoral nature and reveal the athletes' preparation features from the standpoint of psycho-pedagogical, medico-biological and engineering studies. Foreign experts have great material and technical resources and capacity in this area. That's why scientific-methodological and practical experience of leading scientists, experts and trainers in the work with the best world athletes is a valuable information source and the latest knowledge in the field of high performance sports. This article was prepared based on the R & D plan of the RF Ministry of Sports.
