The article presents new materials of the Makhtylsky Hill sanctuary from the funds of the Gari Local History and Serov Historical Museums. The new collection of fi nds consists of 2303 items and exceeds the collection of the Nizhny Tagil Museum-Reserve (1857 copies). The ceramic complex is represented by materials from all eras from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages, among which Neolithic–Eneolithic ceramics predominate (90,5%). Traces of ocher staining are visible on many fragments of vessels. The collection contains stone products of these eras such as arrowheads, scrapers, knife-shaped plates, polished adzes, knives, saws and abrasives. A rare fi nd is a double-sided comb stamp. A distinctive feature of the complex of stone products on Makhtylsky hill is a large collection (614 copies) of intentionally split pieces and fragments of tuffi te. Only 11 types of mineral raw materials were used for the manufacture of stone tools, which indicates its shortage. Late materials (from the Iron Age and the Middle Ages) are represented only slightly in the collection. The collection contains single fragments of ceramics of the Vagilsky (X-VIII centuries BC) and Zelenogorsk (VI-VIII centuries AD) types.
