This article is devoted to the use of new models and language-forming technologies for teaching a foreign language in non-linguistic universities. The author considers the problems of forming the communicative competence of University graduates in the field of foreign language learning. The article describes modern methods and technologies of teaching, presents the possibilities of using information and communication tools for teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic University. The research is aimed at showing the features of applying elements of innovative educational technologies in the system of traditional foreign language teaching.
