New gods’ characters as the way to show the author's personality in Slavic fantasy

Бесплатный доступ

The creation of the gods’ characters which didn’t belong to the ancient pantheon is one of the ways for the authors to display their personality in Slavic fantasy. The analysis was carried out on the base of the Wella personage which was created by Dvoretskaja in «Unknown spring» and «The rider of the morning». She is not the author’s invention, but her character is based on material revised by the author. Besides, there is the character of God Twins by Semenova from «Volkodav» which is the variant of the myth about the divine Trinity.
