New techniques for compensation of limb chronic ischemia for Buerger's disease

Patients with Winiwarter-Buerger disease (thromboangiitis obliterans) distal type present a major challenge due to inefficient conservative treatment and no reconstructive procedures can be performed for arteries. For this ingrafting and gradual intramedullary wire transportation technique is employed on the bones. Application of the technique allows the arterial flow to restore and provides a substantial compensation for chronic ischemia.
