New technologies of communication, video analytics and "internet of things" in the service of a safe city

The article analyzes new technologies used in modern cities to ensure the safety of their citizens, including video analytics technology, which is able to characterize the entire environment captured by a CCTV camera, allowing the system to interpret relevant information from the video, truly providing "eyes" and "brains" to the entire safe city system by analyzing recorded video streams in real time to detect, classify and track predetermined objects or behavior patterns.
