New trends in methodology of foreign language teaching and the way they are reflected in teaching listening comprehension

This article concentrates on some aspects to modify the syllabus of Listening Comprehension Teaching by forming students' communicative competence in accordance with both competence-and-activity oriented approach and learner-centred approach. The article highlights the idea of intensifying the process of listening comprehension teaching by using Listening Strategies which in their turn activate the process of aural comprehension and may influence well enough on getting the product of listening.
