New military historical routes: regional aspects of creation

The article considers the problems of new military-historical routes creation in regions and municipalities of Russia and shows their influence on patriotic upbringing as the most important educational function. The conclusion is made that the activity in this direction helps to preserve social stability, the formation of patriotic consciousness. Attention is drawn to the problem of systematization and certification of places and objects of tourism related to military history in the regions and municipalities, as well as on issues of hostilities reconstruction. The article focuses on the activities of decision-making state structures, aimed at helping businesses engaged in the development of military-historical tourism and formulates the requirements to the activity of the employees of regional and municipal tourism administrations in the development of the military-historical routes. The possibilities and directions of brands military-historical tourism development are shown on the example of Crimea. The article concludes that the creation of the "road maps" are necessary in the development of the military-historical routes.
