New dictionary of Russian dialects of Amur oblast: lexicography

The article is devoted to a new dialect dictionary - the Dictionary of Russian Dialects of Amur Oblast, the materials for which are published since 2005 in a specialized periodical - the folklore and dialectological almanac “Slovo”. The dialect vocabulary and phraseology included in the Dictionary of Russian Dialects of Amur Oblast was collected during dialectological expeditions of philologists of Amur State University to the villages of Amur Oblast in 2000-2014. The dictionary involves not only the vocabulary of the descendants of the Transbaikal Cossacks living on the right bank of the Amur River, but also the vocabulary of the descendants of immigrants from the southern regions of Russia, borrowings from the Ukrainian and Belarusian languages. The dictionary presents a special system of labels, which show both the specifics of the materials of a new dictionary, and the results of comparing the glossary of a new dictionary with the glossary of the Dictionary of Russian Dialects of Amur Oblast, which includes dialect vocabulary collected in the earlier period.
