Type 2 diabetes and CHF demonstrate a high, growing prevalence in the general population, mutually burden each other, have a close pathophysiological relationship and a number of synergistic approaches to treatment. The high frequency of cardiovascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes is one of the most important social problems of world health. For the timely diagnosis of CHF, MNP and the N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide NT-proBNP are usually used, which are considered the most proven and reliable markers. Materials and methods of research: We identified and selected 185 patients as the object of research based on the materials of their access to medical and preventive institutions in Andijan from 30 years and older. Abstract: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D) and chronic heart failure (CHF) exhibit a high, increasing prevalence in the general population, are mutually aggravating, have a close pathophysiological relationship, and a number of synergistic approaches to treatment. BNP and N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide NT-proBNP, which are considered the most validated and reliable markers, are usually used for timely diagnosis of CHF. Results of the study and discussion: The largest proportion of patients with a high NTproBNP index was noted in the group of patients with CHF – 95.0%, slightly less – 90.8% was detected in the group of patients with DM2 in combination with CHF, and the smallest number, namely 51.7%, was in the group of patients with type 2 diabetes only. The data obtained confirm that NTproBNP is both a diagnostic and prognostic marker of the presence/development of CHF. Research materials and methods: We identified and selected 185 patients aged 30 years and older who visited medical institutions in Andijan.
