Man’s need for principles (in connection with one of Kant’s ideas)

In connection with I. Kant's idea that human will is determined, on the one hand, by an a priori principle and, on the other hand, by an a posteriori motive, the necessity of correlation of human behaviour with the principle is considered. In reliance on the principle, the essence of man and his peculiarity in comparison with other forms of living things are revealed. Due to the fact that the principle is an irreducible factor of human life, the article highlights its most essential features.
