On the expediency and necessity of adopting the Environmental Code of the Russian Federation

The authors consider the adoption of the Environmental Code of the Russian Federation through the prism of current legislation. The relevance of the article is due to the fact that more than once the issues of creating and adopting a unified systematized code of laws regulating environmental legal relations were raised, draft documents were produced, but today there is no Environmental Code of the Russian Federation. This article calls into question the necessity and expediency of adopting this document, taking into consideration the existence of present legal acts. The authors conclude that the current legislation fully regulates the sphere of environmental law.
