Towards the centralized processing of the results of the Unified state exam in the formation of a contingent of university students

The article considers the possibility of transferring the function of enrollment of students in higher education institutions from the universities to a single federal center for processing the results of the Unified State Exam. The authors describe the advantages of this approach. Some technical aspects of the transition to the proposed system of enrollment of students as well as the degree of its consistency with the current rules of enrollment and legislation in the field of education are analysed.
