About deformation and defects of legal awareness of employees of internal affairs bodies

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of deformation of professional legal awareness of law police officials. The author analyzes the content of the category of professional legal awareness. He discusses the forms of professional deformation of police officers, examines the factors that provoke deviations in professional legal consciousness and the consequences of such deformation. He is studying the means of legal education of police officers. Formulates conclusions about the need for continuous law enforcement and educational activities of law enforcement officials.
