The representatives of German philosophy repeatedly raised the issues of freedom in human behavioral choice, namely they examined how much man was self-rigorous and the responsibility he felt for his behavior in the society. They were also concerned with the problem of the good and the evil, duty, morality and virtue. According to Kant, reason is a permanent condition for all human actions. Everyone chooses their fate themselves and decides to be good or evil. Later Shelling and Schopenhauer continued studying the phenomenon of free will but were more inclined to consider certain predestination or subsistence of character. In our article we made an attempt to look at how classical philosophers' views can help us in understanding the reasons for modern social problems and the quintessence of human behavior.
