On city income and other Russian laws passed 200 years ago - in December (1822)

A brief overview of the legislative activity of the Russian Empire in one month - December 1822, that is, 200 years ago, is presented. The number of decrees and other documents was 24 (for comparison, in October 1822 there were 20 of them, in November - 14 acts). Such an approach based on a round date, although bearing the seal of reproach in terms of the choice of the object of study, nevertheless allows a better understanding of the main trends in the historical development of Russian law. The source of the acts under study is the first Complete Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire (1649-1825).
