The author comes to the conclusion that the social satisfaction of consumers in the provision of rail transportation services consists not only of the assessment of the passenger and/or baggage transportation itself, but also depends on the quality and safety of the transport infrastructure and its services during the waiting and arrival of rolling stock. The paper identifies and analyzes the following main violations of consumer rights when using the infrastructure of railway passenger transportation: a) related to the provision of free medical care at the railway station; b) related to the fire safety of the infrastructure of the railway station; c) related to the improper maintenance of the passenger platform at the railway station; d) related to the provision of sanitary and hygienic services for passengers at the railway station; e) related to the purchase of travel tickets and electronic check-in for a train.
