About corporations in sports

The article is devoted to assessing the legal status of sports organizations as corporations and verifying the appropriateness of linking rules in sports with corporate life and corporate relations. It is concluded that there is a need for a doctrinal development of a model for linking foundation and participation in a sports federation with the level of guarantee of a certain effect arising from this circumstance, subsequent discussion of its key provisions and normative consolidation. At the same time, one should rely not only on the property qualification or the amount of expected own or attracted investments, but also one should not abandon such approaches. An option may be the acceptance of certain obligations by the members of the federation, the non-fulfillment of which may serve as a basis for termination of membership.
