About criteria, conditions and risks in the assessment of economic and policy efficiency of agricultural nature management in Russia

The article presents a critical analysis of the problems of agricultural development and its government support in modern-day Russia. We have identified the benefits and costs of implementing the policy of agricultural nature management, the criteria and risks of ensuring food safety at the national and regional levels, as well as the main problems of rural development. Risks and threats to food safety are up-to-date problems of agrarian policy of any country. The Food Security Doctrine was adopted in Russia in 2010; in 2019 it is supposed to be adjusted based on current agricultural development trends. We have proposed the main directions for the development of technologies for processing agricultural products, increasing the efficiency of public grants and government support of agricultural producers
