On the methodological aspects of essays M. N. Petrov “The gospel in history”

The paper identified and analyzed particularity if origins of theoretical and methodological positions of M.N. Petrov - a famous Russian historian of the second half of the XIX century, Mordovian man in its origin - on the guestion of socio-historical significance of the Gospel value and orientation system. At the same time there are given facts evidenced of significant actuality, until the present day, formulated by him in his essay "The Gospel in the history" of some conclusions and statements.
