On the plurality of grammatical norm

Бесплатный доступ

In recent years, linguistic studies are often based on the opinion that the norm which suits every situation is merely a formality, that the concept of "norm-error" is wrong and that the concept of "norm-another norm" exists in addition to it. This proposition is adequate for the lexical level, while grammar is still often viewed as the stronghold of monolithic unified norm. It is naturally clear that grammar in general and morphology in particular are part of the order which is subject to strict rules, the deviations from which are impossible, However, even in grammar we can often see the increase in stylistic, genre and functional differentiation. This article makes an attempt to study such cases of functional demarcation.
