Some ideological aspects of masonry and melancholic natural philosophy in V. A. Zhukovsky’s works of 1797 – 1800 (article 1)

The article is devoted to V.A.Zhukovky’s early creative work which is less studied. The investigation of philosophical and aesthetic formation of V.A.Zhukovky as a romanticist poet is important not only for a better understanding of his later creative work but for the comprehension of the basis of the philosophical poetics and aesthetics of Russian romanticism. The object of our attention in the article is the influence of the masonry ideology on the formation of V.A.Zhukovky’s melancholic natural philosophy and its effect on the poet’s early creative work.
