Some factors of word-formation motivation of nomina agentis in Lezghin language

The paper presented an attempt made to explore the factors that triggered derivative motivation for the nomina agentis cluster in the Lezghin language. While establishing relation of deriving and motivating between the elements of a single derivative pair, difficulties often arise and are typical of the event where there is no formal features of motivation between the words (as for conversion) or they do not comply with the semantic criteria. The derived denominations in the words of nomina agentis (cluster) are the clearly defined derivational category. Compactness of this category increases with the factor that most words of nomina agentis (cluster) clearly actualize in their actual lexical semantic the appropriate derivational format. General meaning of the lively and productive word-formation types for this category fully agrees with a derivative meaning and using them in particular meaning shall be perceived as an application of the general to a particular. Such a compactness does not imply however isolation of a category from the other derivational formations. The author made an inference that the set of primary motivational features depends on an ontological group the concept belongs to. The more abundant the concept is, the wider the variety of motivational features; otherwise the poorer it is, the more limited is the choice of features.
